What I miss most is the laid back life style.
None of the dog eat dog stuff we live with in today’s society.
So I guess that’s down to the people too.
Sure there were rat bags there like Leeanne Sneddon but that’s what was good about the place.
Also miss being close to the sea. That was spesh.
I still have many friends on the coast too so that’s another for the community.
I try and get back as much as I can.

I'm loving living here. No traffic lights, no traffic jambs, parking available near shops. We've had a fantastic summer weather wise. All the beautiful scenery available at our doorstep. Wouldn't wish to live anywhere else but in Hokitika (our paradise).
