AddBy: Clare Pierson14th Dec 2024 3:44PMThe inscription on the plaque is written 125 years after the Pioneer Sisters arrived, by the Sisters living in 2003 with their knowledge of Te Reo Māori and approved by local Māori. It is a commemoration of the arrival of the pioneers, not what they would write at that time.
