Hi Tania I grew up with Lynette Lawson in Dobson and your Grand parents were my grandparents next door neighbours not counting the Anglican Church sorry that I can’t help with identifying Ted as he was pretty much always an old man to me surely Elaine will be able to . He was a great old scout and a founder member of the Brunner Volunteer Fire Brigade in 1959 he worked at the Dobson NZED Substation in those days I will always remember Ted and Mrs Lawson with the greatest respect shame that there is not more people like them around nowadays!!

Rob Lunn thank you. Yes they were a big part of my life. I used to spend a lot of weekends at their house and holidays, camping etc with them. I would ride my horse from Cobden on a Friday after school and graze him next door where the hall was built, head home again in Sunday I can just remember grandad working down at the NZED before he retired. They were the best grandparents
