AddBy: William Gray29th Jun 2023 2:27PMThe vessel pictured here is the KAIMANAWA, the year being 1965,Built in 1944 for the Union Co by Henry Robb Leith Scotland, she made five calls here in 1965, the first call was the 23-3-65, she returned on the 6-4-65, again on the 18-4-65, 5-12-65 and finally on the 18-12-65, she loaded coal on the five visits. Sold by the Union in 1966 To the Madrigal Shipping Co in the Philippines and renamed ROSA ANNA, on the 15-1-67 she ran aground on a reef in the Philippines and became a total loss, and was later broken up.
