This car isn't a De Dion, it is a Lacoste & Battmann based car, possibly with a 6hp De Dion engine. It is more than likely a L'Etoile imported into NZ by Adams & co of Christchruch between 1904 and 1906. They came in two sizes, the one in the photo and the bigger 8hp of which we have one.2nd from right is Stan Lamont.
