George Gardner i think that is Bill Wick in the middle row.He was there when i was at high school in 1966

Ormandy taught me at Riccarton High when l started there in 68 he had taught dad on the coast he was a good guy . As the last of the trade classes ever they didn’t give a dam and just wanted us gone. He always treated us good, when we over stepped the line as a class he would cane the whole class , first 10 got 1 the second 2 the third 3 he would say before caning us . If you don’t want to act like men then l will treat you like boys.

Hooper was an excellent English teacher and as I recall ran the drama groups at school. "Snowy" Hutton was probably the most entertaining and informative teacher. He taught geography the classical way, not the theoretical rubbish the teach today. I'm surprised not to see HOJ Jeffcoate in the picture.
