DescriptionI used to lie in bed and watch our scrim walls " breathing" on windy and stormy nights.

Gee that brings back memories from a long time ago , our old house on the farm growing up after the war was just like that , one would see the wall paper bellowing in and out with the wind out side,frost on the inside of window glass , that was just life we new no difference, we would heat stones on the cold range and put then in our pockets
To keep our hands warm walking to school.
A totally different world to day,

I remember in our old villa, in Cobden. We had got a bulk lot of carpet so ran the carpet up the wall instead of skirting. When the wind blew the carpet lifted.
