AddBy: William Gray28th Jul 2023 2:31PMThe KAITANGATA, KONUI,KAIAPOI,KAITAWA,KAWATIRI, and the KOKIRI were all built between 1948 and 1951, all built by Henry Robb Leith Scotland for the Union Co, and were built for the Coal Trade, The PURIRI, and the MAMAKU were also built by Henry Robb for the Anchor Co of Nelson, the TOTARA, and the TITOKI were built by Smit & Zoon at Westerbroek in Holland also for the Anchor Co. Nancarrows were the Anchor Co agents, and were for many years.
