The first St Joeph's Church at Kanieri was opened on the 23 September 1874, and it was destroyed by fire on the 23 June 1910. When did the school open? and when did it close? and what happened to the school building?

I wonder if the building is part of the current Kaniere School in Camp Street?

Kristine Hickford no. It was a Catholic School St Joseph's and the Sisters of Mercy taught there.
