Noel Marie Batty Graham Kennedy was our back door neighbour, they lived Milton Road and we lived Shakespeare Street.
Mum and Dad kept in touch with Graham and Margaret when they went to live in Wagga Wagga, Australia.
They always came to visit Mum and Dad when they came back for a holiday.
I will never forget Graham the day of the Strongman Mine Disaster he was a total mess!!

Let’s not be unkind with the details. These teachers will have families ! Enough to say that some were lovely and some were hard on us. We each have our own memories. Some happy and some heartbreaking. Some of those teachers had HUGE classes to took after. Can’t have been easy !
