Richie used do drive the mail van too when we were kids..gave us brandy ball and black balls when we ran to get the mail :)

I remember the dark blue & cream ones and then the green and cream (I think they were NZRS). Round front & back like the one in front and then change to more square. Primary bus was red & cream which Eddie drove.

We had Gibby Northcroft, Keith Griffiths and Bert McMullan drive the high school bus. A great lot of fun travelling to and from school :)

I remember that clearly Jenny.......We had Harry Collett driver he was fun too we gave him heaps of cheek..... in fun of course... he would just smile.

The Ngahere/Blackball afternoon school bus run by NZRS delivered the Greymouth evening Star with the drive biffing wrapped papers out the window or door depending which side they were going.
