DescriptionNoeline Pinn: it is the old drying kiln from Jack Bros sawmill in Kotuku. Was a working mill in my childhood days in the 40’s, I can’t remember when it closed, but men from the mill later travelled to Bell Hill to work in the mill there. Well remember cooking potatoes in the old slab fires. Tasted wonderful. It was a thriving township in those days and a great place to live.Map^[1]ContributorAnji Wells
