Oops, William Arnott is Jack and Ron's mum's dad's dad. Their grandfather was John Grey Arnott, their mother was Dolly(Ethel) Kear nee Arnott.

I remember a girl who went to Grey Main school in the 1940s who was Heather Kear but not sure of how it was spelt.
