Rob Elwood Auntie Lil ended her days at Bethany Cottages in Chch where my Mum also was. She was Grandma Johnson's sister.

Beverley Hooper yes, thank's back living in Chch for the last 18 years and happy to be here. I regularly take Hazel Kerr (Goodisson) out. She is in a rest home here. I see Thelma occasionally...the last time she was taking Lauris out for lunch and I had Hazel and we sat together and chatted.

That’s a great photo to have Bev. I recognised uncle Bob and Auntie Lil right away. That was taken 4 years before I was born in Greymouth.

As well as the music, the "Sallies" provided a great deal of social care in their communities. My grandparents were burnt out and it was the Sallies that immediately came to their aid.
