I was a friend of Bill Gilroy (you cousin ) in my earlier years. Bill went on to work for the Ministry of works delivering their heavy machinery between the two islands for the hydro works. like Turangi & roxborough & Clyde. I haven't seen Bill for years as I am now living in the North Island.

Yes, that was my Uncle Tom Gilroy, my Dad Bob was the eldest boy in the family and the first person in Reefton to have a drivers licence.
