It is nice that the former Customs building remains and was restored . My Mother Brenda Guerin as she was at the time worked there in the early 1950’s

After shifting to Dunedin in 1961 every school holidays we would head back to Runanga. Get the 5.30 railcar to Christchurch then hang around Christchurch station until the railcar to Greymouth left. Loved heading back to see all our relations and our friends
