Carolyn Luck I assume it was them who lived next to my Grandmother at 167 Tainui St Greymouth with them at 165. In the 50s. Unless there was more than one Clem

They did live in Tainui Street but not in the 50’s.
My grandmother the only girl in the family of 9 boys married Fred Congreve and they lived at 172 Tainui Street.
Their 8th son Clement married Ruby and they lived at 165 Tainui Street, so it would be them who lived next door to your grandmother.
