DescriptionMy great aunt, Catherine Dorothy Crimmins, was born in Greymouth on the 17th of December 1894 to Michael Crimmins and Mary Ann Lodge. The family had moved to Kotuku after the railway opened. Catherine married Sylvester Wallace John Adamson at St Patrick's Church in Greymouth on the 9th of December 1916. The couple settled in the Nelson Creek area and were to have 8 children and many of their descendants are still connected with the West Coast today.Map^[1]ContributorGeoffrey Bell

The body, when picked up, was terribly muti lated:" Dr Bennétt, of Blackball, was im mediately summoned, but' .on arrival ,he pronounced extinct. An inquest will be held at Grey mouth to-morrow.'

Suzanne McGeady yeah remember mum talking about that. Nana’s hair went white overnight. Also remember mum saying that a bird came into the house the day before.? It happen and Nana was in panic to get it out.
