I would say, from the set of horns in front of the group, that they are Buffalo's. They used to have (or may even still do) a meeting room at Shantytown. Quite exclusive and secretive

Patricia Heveldt as I understand them, lodges are secretive because they are primarily a mutual funds society providing financial and other support to members having difficulties … and the details are none of our business.

R Stuart Nicholson There are secret signs and passwords to ensure members only enter lodge. Nominees are vetted to ensure they are honest. Our funds are distributed to a number of worthy causes, not just to members. Air ambulance, Coastguard to name two. The Pike river mine tragedy gained a big help through numerous donations from lodges throughout New Zealand.
