Carl and Henrietta Schroder

DescriptionHope this is okay to post here. I am wondering if there are any descendants here of Carl and Henrietta Schroder who can help me.
I am a descendant of their son August Henry Schroder who married Elizabeth Rowe. Ernest and Heather are my great grandparents, and their son Neil is my mother's father.
I am specifically wondering if anyone can tell me of their history prior settling in Hokitika in 1875, and who Henrietta's parents are. I can't seem to go back further than that through ancestry as all birth, death, and marriage certificates are in a different language and don't translate well in Google translate.
I will be doing an ancestry DNA to help with the brick walls I've hit but curious to know if anyone here has any info tucked away in their drawers they wouldn't mind sharing. Thanks in advance!

Carl & Henrietta Schroder are my great great Grandparents. Their Granddaughter Henrietta Kerr nee Marr was my Grandmother. Carl Schroder was born in Prussia approximately 1834. He was a farm labourer and emigrated to NZ when he was 41. The ship was called the Lammers Hagen on the 1.4. 1875. He was naturalized in Hokitika in 15.11.1883. Henrietta was born in 1836 in Prussia. She was approx 39 when she emigrated to NZ. I hope this information is helpful

Annette MacPherson , my great great grandparents also came to nz on that ship. August and Marit Rosanowski, they originally settled in Jacksons Bay, then later moved to the Palmerston North area.
My great grandfather was the first Polish child born in Jacksons Bay.

Like Glynis I am a direct descendant. Linda Schroder has a lot of material on the family. She is Richard Schroder’s wife. Their sons carry on the Schroder name. Carl of the Central Hotel was my father where I grew up.

Thanks everyone for sending what you could find, I have all this information already but nothing on Henrietta. Hopefully the DNA will beable to sort this out

My husband is decended from the Sigglekow’s. We Schroder and Schwass in our tree. Part of my genealogy is packed away at the moment but can’t remember those names. Happy hunting I’m sure someone will be able to help.
