Merv Nicolle Sorry Merv. That tell us nothing. They are a big part of the reason we now live in a better world. Every one of them employ thousands of people dedicated to ensuring we don't repeat the mistakes of the past. They may not be perfect, they may not always get it right, but they all contribute to the better world we now live in.

Bruce Keddie I agree with Merv. Unfortunately they don't represent what they were set up to do anymore!
My father was one of those men that marched of to war and safetly returned 5yrs later. He told me when I was about 12yrs old that through these organisations that the world would turn to crap. Being so young I didn't understand what he was telling me but as the years progressed I started seeing the events he explained to me happening and realised what he had said was actually taking place now.
He also said that none of his sons would ever go to war that if they wanted another WW they should be forced from behind their desks and made to go fight it themselves, in which event their would never be another WW!
