Mums uncle Paddy “Futter “ as he was known.
They used to say he could weld 2 bits of wood together , he was a good welder.
He had some great stories when we were kids.

Lived next door to Paddy in Bealey Street. Paddy used ti brew his own whisky on a still that he made. Couldent drink to much or it would bowl ya over.

Can remember him coming to our house in Ross for haircut ..my dad used cut men's hair..& he used play the violin with dad on piano..poss hav photos of him but not named..

Myself and hubby.bob bryant,also lived next door to paddy,yes tried his whisky,it was offered and would I like Mello Yello or milk?I chose Mello Yello,hubby arrived home he worked at Ross moters,when asked he chose milk,and the liquid turns instantly to yogurt consistently,in the end Bob chose water,yes it had a kick.i loved past when the violin came into play.boy could he play .
