DescriptionFurniture for a house at Gillespie's Beach, south Westland, being taken by pack-horse along the seven-mile track from Weheka. Work is now underway to build a road on this route. NB: Weheka was renamed Fox Glacier (after the glacier 6 km away) in the 1940s.
