Was road man on the top section of incline for two years did all the maintenance to the top section working while wagons were going up and down used to have to jump off wagons with my gear to do maintenance while incline was running never thought much about the safety of things great experience

My Dad,s family lived up there ..his Father died in the Stockton mine leaning Grandma with 6 children ..I think it must have been a very hard life up there.
