Thanks King Dick or I wouldnt have been able to travel by train from Greymouth to the Mahinapua picnics in the 50s

great memories of miner's picnics on train from Greymouth to Mahinapua with free apples and an icecream on the train and many running events with the family , sack races 3 legged races 100 meter sprints , egg spoon races and more it was truly something special .
