I knew Jack well, spent a lot of time at his Murray Street house in Greymouth, hanging out with Joanne, John and Nova. Lovely family, and Nova was a wonderful friend to mum

Elizabeth Betty Woods When was that Betty ? Jack Hartigan lived in Bright Street, on the other side of Range Creek, next to the old Hayes house - Paddy ODonnell lived in the house after that, from memory.

Stephen Tvrdeic not long after Jack's wife died they moved to Murray Street, that's actually how I met Sue Hayes. Maybe around early 1970s, as we all started High School in 1973, so it was near then. We didn't have a car, so Jack took Joanne and I out and about, picnics, etc, even took me to a family 21st in Christchurch, one of the Coleman's parties. I recall one trip , Porters Pass, snow, ice, we all jumped out of the car, watched the car slide into the bank lol, glad it slid that way

I flatted with John in Brisbane in 1982, very entertaining, watched lots of league, including at Lane Park, watched the Kiwis play, travelled to Toowoomba to watch coasters in the team play, Wayne Dywer, Johnnie Griffin, and Gordon Smith. I think that game might have been Wayne's first in the Kiwi jersey, someone might confirm. We hung at at Arty Beatson's pub, Redcliffe, one night everyone in the bar drinking were Coasters apart from the barman lol
