Fully restored Gardner 6LXB
Was commissioned by United Sawmills to work as a log tug on Lake Brunner until 1966. Now she is our family boat on Stewart Island where we live.
I have gathered some historical photos from this site and online.
Would love to know anything more about her, or stories of her adventures. I believe she went to islands a couple of times and one one trip they went up into the Bering Sea.

well thank you so much for the update on the old girl -great to see her still resplendent in her bright attire .if you go on the westcoastr recollections website and enter sawmilling lake brunner im sure youll find a few snaps of her in her working days.

Hi there. As a family, we quite often talk about the Tikinui and wondering whatever happened to her. We knew she had gone south. My Grandparents lived at Tekinga, where the sawmill was located.
