A great view of Kumara from a different direction. Rug’s Hotel can be seen on the right in the distance ten years before it was pulled down. Interesting to see the photo also features electricity with potentially some of it undergrounded.

Harold Lee thanks I thought it was. Hills in both directions don't help. My great grandfather had an aerated waters and Cordial (liqueur) factory on the West Side on Main Road toward the north end.
