A few comments. Goldsborough and Forkstown are names for the same settlement. I think the "Gallaghers" shown near these two should be Callaghan's. I can think of other settlements that sprang up in this period then faded away but in some cases it would be challenging to show them in this format on the map of this scale due to close proximity to places already listed. Fox's, Blue Spur, Woodstock and Six Mile Beach were once important places but are omitted.

Found records of my great grandfather, John Blocksage , active in Greenstone & Welshmans.
Previously gold prospecting in Victoria Australia.
Arrived at Hobson Bay, Melbourne on the 6th December 1856 on immigrant ship, Marco Polo, from Liverpool England. ( age 21, brick maker).
Moved to NZ about 1862, Otago goldfields then on to the West Coast goldfields.
