Dad took us to see a miners hut near Stillwater I think about 55 yrs ago
Cooking over an open fire with a tin chimney, table, bed in the corner, semi comfortable chair, everything he needed, I don’t think it would be much bigger than 9ft by 9ft

Tacker typified the local Council worker who took a pride in his work in his little town. Later those jobs were outsourced up and down the country to the detriment of the local aspect.

I knew the people that lived there. Robinson's lived there as I went to school with Marilyn back in the 1950's. The house still looks well kept
