DescriptionSomeone recently turned up a wedding photo of my Great grandmother Elizabeth Barnett nee Young from 1890, the day before I was due to go visit the Brunner Mine, Taylorville and Stillwater Cemetery which was weird timing.
This is on the day of her wedding to her first husband John Teward who was one of the victims of the Brunner Explosion in 1896. She is just 18 years old here.
I hadn't seen it before and they said it was in a book, possibly about the mine disaster that was at the Blackball Hilton.
I stayed there a couple of weeks ago and foolishly, I completely forgot to ask about it and didn't see any books in the living room/commons area that made me stop.
Does anyone know what publication this is from?
