DescriptionDon Hartill and I had a good day finding mines and return air ways today after we found some earlier in the week. Some of the returns came out on a cliff face and were only big enough for a man to crawl through I think we have found the 3/A section that closed in Nov 1921.

The coal was medium to hard and of good quality with a sound sandstone roof. A few relics still there and a couple of whisky bottlesContributorMoe Bowes
