We bought quite a few pieces of Jinny’s furniture and her Wedgewood dinner set when we were first married. Jinny was going into Tasmania Home. Her lounge suite was made by Doug Goodall as an apprentice and is still going strong.
Jinny had some beautiful figurines that she found in London during the Blitz. She said they were lying in the rubble looking worse for wear. She cleaned them up and still had them 40 years later.

Janet Webster I loved that lounge suite. Felt big and cosy as a child. I would sit in it and look at photo albums. Unfortunately the photos got burnt. I loved looking in the china cabinet. Look but don’t touch.

Dingy worked at The Kopara sawmill in the 50s early 60s, went school his 3 kids Barry, Caroline and Denis.
