Was that Bruetons foundry in Bright St, Cobden ?????? Lived just down the road from that facility until 1954. I think the owners name was Joey, but not sure. Great days, miss the whitebait and kahawai seasons in the Grey river, used to wag school a bit in those days to get over to "The Beacon" to grab some of the clean Grey bait which often streamed endlessly up the river during a "run" !!!! No fridge in those days so had to dig it into the garden as it had no value, wow, thats changed a lot now.
