The hot spring and bath the water was piped to was more or less at the confluence of the Haupiri River and Cone Creek (aka West Branch of Haupiri) That is on a low terrace on the True Left of the Haupiri & TR of Cone Creek. I have posted about it on here in the past. As part of work I did a lot of walking with Ces hunting for historic sites and clearing old miners tracks. This was mainly in 1978 but did a bit more of the same sort of thing in 1980.
