The Haast Pass International Rally held in January 1965 featured a "Prince Henry Vauxhall" produced between 1912 and 1914. It was one of the first true sports cars in the world. The full Haast pass route opened in November 1965 so the rally was at the southern end. Lord Montague from England is at the wheel. My parents went on that Rally in their 07 All Days and Onions, restored in Greymouth by Dad.
