Fantastic poster from 1865 New Zealand that would look great framed.

This poster is advertising gold rushers passage direct to the Grey River on the West Coast aboard "The Fine Fast Clipper Schooner - KIWI". Gold rush fever meant that Captain Joseph Byers could only give one weeks notice of this sailing in 1865. On a return trip later in 1865 the Kiwi failed to arrive in Auckland, being lost in a Cook Strait gale with all hands and twenty passengers.
