It was a beautiful home.
Marlborough Street.
The Tanner family owned it for a long time. They had a daughter Carol.

I thought Dudley Rathbuns store/complex was on the corner of High and Marlborough and would more likely to have been where Domino’s is now… this home would now be part of New World car park from memory….

If I remember rightly it was in a small dip, New World carpark now. It was a lovely home. Dudley Rathbuns shop was on the corner where Dominos is.

This photo would be taken from Cowper St looking up Marlborough St, back end of Rathbun's Hall and I think it had a side entrance off Malborough St and main entrance off High St

LorraineRob Williams That’s the Rathbuns complex…it contained a grocery/liquor store, a rifle range, a flat upstairs, and I think perhaps a butchers shop? It was on the corner of High St and Marlborough St….this is where Domino’s would be now

Yes. Jack and May Tanner lived there. Sue Ollerenshaw lived on the corner of Cowper and Marlborough Street next to number 3. I point the car park out to my family and say “that’s where I lived”.
The photo brings back lots of memories for me.
