Easy pickings if you know what your looking for before setting up your sluice. Ken Nolan had a horse that he rode along the beach and when it pulled up he would sluice for Gold. Came in to the Whataroa Hotel and threw a 21/2 ounce nugget on the Pool Table. Good old Ken a good bugger who lived at Okarito. God Bless him. If you had the privilege to meet him yah just met one of Jesus's Diciples.
