Looks like it could be over the Windbeg Creek cattle track crossing between the Hostel Hut and the Blowfly hut at the Blue River.

Tramping clothing and gear has come such a long way! Tramping today is much easier and more comfortable today. I’m old enough to remember mustering in hobnail boots, just like these trampers are wearing. They were heavy, uncomfortable and unyielding and they are probably the most functional piece of gear these intrepid trampers have.
