Heather Newby Young people don't swim there because of health and safety rules and better access to Quality aquatic facilities. They don't know what they missed. We had the great era.

our great big back yard loved it,

we had great times swimming there and jumping off the old barge,, the tide came and went.. saw baby sharks..the mudflats were amazing with all the crabs scuttling for cover as we skated around

Was a great playground for us Blaketown kids. I did get into trouble for going for a spin in Winky McMinns old dinghy without permission though!

Was great fun swimming around that area at high tide, and at low tide playing around lifting rocks and finding bootlace eels and crabs ?
