What a wonderful photo. Looks like wicker work on the wagon sides

David Howe that is wicker work, surprising, I'd have expected to see more utilitarian vehicles. My 2xgreat grandfather came to NZ in 1849 from Scotland, he was a basket weaver and would have made this sort of thing, along with woven panels for sheep yards.

Christine Hogg Looks like very intricate work Christine. My Grandfather used to love his wicker chair, seated beside the coal range. Don't see them around any more these days.

David Howe this cart appears to have some fancy work, I've seen some overseas photos of really intricate wicker work, I'm quite green with envy.
