DescriptionThe annual conference of the United Fire Brigades' Association was held in Nelson last week, and was attended by 127 delegates, a record number. Much public interest was taken in the demonstration events in which a high degree of efficiency was shown.

Sure did he started the Walton legacy in the Greymouth Brigade,his son Jack and grandson John also served very long periods of time
