Doris Blanchard Correct. Lil was Nana Dixon to the kids on our side of the family. After retiring they moved to Picton.

No, George & Elizabeth (first wife) had 4 children; Bob, George, Maisie & Cliff. Mary was Bob's wife. Maisie was my mother (Elwood)

The actual Wallsend mine was between the road where the wheel is and the railway back towards Greymouth. They are great photos. I grew up in Wallsend in the 50’s and 60’s so a few memories there.

Thanks, they are mostly contact prints direct from the negatives (long since lost) I think that George's son Bob did the processing at home and the images are mostly very crisp. I have done a little bit of digital tweaking after scanning them but not much was required.
