DescriptionCARVED WALKING STICK "Comes Home"

During World War One rifleman Samuel Frickleton, a coal miner from Blackball won the Victoria Cross for his bravery in an attack during 1917. The New Zealand Maori Battalion presented Frickleton a carved walking stick for his gallantry.
