DescriptionThe attention of the Grey County Council was recently called to the dangerous nature of this portion of the Greymouth-Westport main highway, known as Batty's Hill. During wet weather the road is often strewn with rocks which have come down from the overhanging cliffs. A large piece of rock is here seen ready to fall.
