Wrong year its 1955, first arrival 18th of January 1995, loaded coal for Portland, departed 19th of January 1995, the Dredge KAWATIRI was dredging at the time, the barge was being towed by the SEATOW 22. which was later renamed the KURUTAI, and was later sold to Heron Construction from Auckland. SEATOW NZ later became PB SEATOW and were involved with towing contracts in Australia. At a later date the tugs and barges were sold off, the SEATOW NZ were wound up, The SEATOW 21 which later renamed KORAKI, was sold to to Total Marine in Auckland, The SEATOW 25 was later renamed KORANUI. and was then renamed SEAWAYS 18 after being sold to overseas owners, and appears to be working around Africa. The KATEA was later registered in the Cook Islands and would be working around the Pacific, and the KARORI was in later years working around Australia and New Guinea. When SEATOW finished operations in NZ the the barge SEATOW 17 was sold to another Co in Auckland.
