DescriptionWhen Herbert died in 1939, loyal staff helped run the garage for Mrs McGlashan.
Jack Lindbom was the boss there with others like Bill Arthur, 34 yrs on the job.
Ian Innes was there from 1945 to 1957.
Ross Barnes, Hughie Smith, Baggy Lalor and Les Woods were also there. McGlashans closed in 1967.Map^[1]ContributorMoe Bowes

I remember as an apprentice the Mc Glashan trust had cash awards for appys who gained high marks in their trade exams

Dad took over from. McGlashan and turned it into a panel shop on the weekend of the 1960 centennial , l was only 6 but remember it well as one of the cars they moved in caught on fire inside the shop. Hopefully someone who was working for dad will be able to shine a little light on it?Great memories
