Down on the farm in the Sth Westland we had an Allis Charmers HD7. It had a double cable drum and we believe had an overloader. Was fitted with a cable blade but all the pulleys were there for one of the mechanisms. We understand it had come from the Lime works in Ross. Undercarriage was in very poor condition and kept throwing tracks. It was scrapped in late 70's. Motor went into a fishing boat. Tracks and blade were adapted for land clearing work. We used the overhead structure for steel jobs on the farm. Winch was cut off and sold. Finally blew the back to bits with gelignite to dismantle and was scrapped to Dispatch Foundry.
