The loco is still with us, it is at Ferrymead in Christchurch, it has not been restored and is not likely to be for a long time yet.

Jeffrey Harrison they wanted to cosmetically restore it for the 50th but the water tanks were still in possession of the family of the person that stored it in chch

Grant Klempel if I remember wright the boiler is shot. But it be nice to atleast see it put back together and restored to static display
